Orchard Maintenance Diary 2021

We recommenced our maintenance days having had confirmation from the STC that it was in order to do so provided we abide by our Covid risk assessment rules.

Volunteers all helped prune the Row A James Grieve Apple trees. All prunings were deliberately left on the ground between the Row B trees as food for the rabbits as there was evidence that they had returned and starting to nibble the base of some apple trees.

Rob and Adrienne had started to prune the younger apple trees and hoped to complete this task before the end of February.
